Our Methods

Since our inception in 1999 we have developed our own unique methodology for developing visual identities.
Here is a brief outline, it is expanded in our formal project proposals. Please contact the studio if you'd like to discuss a project in detail.

Familiarisation

We conduct client meetings, so as to fully understand the specific requirements and the overall context of a project.

Research and analysis

A phase of research and analysis is the conducted in order for us to make a 'context' presentation and define a strong direction for the project to go forward.

Creative development

Once a good direction has been established, we begin to develop creative concepts. We do this in a way that involves the client and responds to their input.

Implementation

Once a concept has been developed to fully satisfy the brief, a suite of artwork materials is created, including versions suitable for the expected scope of application. We will also supply guidelines to the use of the new materials, the scope of these guidelines will vary according the scale and budget of the project. Guidelines can vary from a single page of colour and type instruction, to a comprehensive guide including scaling, context, positioning, colour, type and many more elements.
